It has several categories like Banking, IT, Insurance, Loans, Airlines, etc
There are mainly three categories in BPO
1. Voice
2. Non- Voice
3. Semi voice
1. Voice process:- This kind of projects involves voice calling and direct interaction with the customers again there are 2 kinds in voice process which is,
Outbound calling
Inbound calling
In Outbound calling where the agents/ employees call the customer which mainly involves Telemarketing, Sales, Lead Generation, Survey, etc
In Inbound calling agents receives the call from the customer on their dedicated lines which mainly involves inquiry calls
2. Non-voice process:- This kind of project involves work in computer, Data entry, form filling, email handling chat process, etc
3. Semi voice process: This kind of project involves both voice and non-voice work, for example, talking to the customer and making a note of customer details or the live chat with the customers.
